Hi Karen. I saw you and Shelly at Grand Casino last Thursday evening. Thanks for the time you spent talking to me. I really enjoy your music and will be back to Hinckley in Sept. when you are back up here. I gave Shelly a list of other places in Minnesota where you gals could play. Hopefully it works out. I do want to get your Christmas CD. If you have one, bring it along in Sept. If not, I will order one. Hope to see you soon.

Karen - I hated so much to hear about Carl. He was such a good friend, and a great musician. I enjoyed getting to play with him, sometimes twice a week - or at the very least every other week.

He truly enjoyed picking, even though at times he may not have felt like it. He was extremely proud of you and your work - he could hardly wait to let me and my Dad hear your latest CD. We both agreed with him that it is indeed a great CD!

All of the pickers at the Lone Hickory Jam Session and the jam at Bojangle's in Yadkinville will always hold a special place for him in our hearts! We will miss him - hopefully we'll get to jam with him again one day on the other side...

Take care.
